WILLIAM BILL EASTLICK Obituary's Obituary
William D. 'Bill' Eastlick On November 17, 1943 William Dan Eastlick was born to Willard Denzel Eastlick and Frances Margaret Clemons in Great Falls, Montana. In the fall of 1949, Willard and Fran moved north of Promise City, where he helped his dad with farm chores. He attended the one room school just a mile up the road. After graduating from Seymour High School in 1962 he started farming for himself. Bill joined the Iowa National Guard in 1967. In 1968, the family moved south of Seymour. There he started a welding shop and raised stock cattle. He ran the shop where he helped many farmers keep their machinery working for planting and harvesting up until he passed. For many years Bill called bingo every Thursday evening at the Seymour American Legion, where he was a member. Things Bill enjoyed were reminiscing at family gatherings, the companionship of his Australian Shepard named Tippy and spending Saturday at the public auctions. In his later years you could always find Bill having breakfast at the East Side Caf in Seymour or playing cards at Johnson's Barber Shop. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Fran and Willard. Survivors include his brother, Steven Eastlick of Promise City; two nieces Brenda Munden of Promise City and Connie Starr of Centerville; six great nieces and nephews, Brooke Enloe of Centerville, Jade, Michael, Matthew and Jewelia Munden of Promise City and Breckin Starr of Centerville.
