When the sheriffs car pulled up we were relieved.
Verlin and his wife got us to a hotel paid for the first night ,and had my vehicle towed off the road, while we were able to wire for money from the hyvee. His wife brought us a hot chicken and a newspaper the next day which was amazing! And then on Monday they drove me to Des Moines to get a U-Haul truck so I could take the kids and tow my vehicle home they gave me gas money to make it home safe.
