Tommy was my adopted nephew and Bella's adopted brother. He started following me around and was my shadow in 6th grade. He loved hard, was thoughtful, kind, funny, a thinker, brave, resilient, a protector, and always a joy to have around. He was such a fixture in our lives that he still has his own streaming profiles on all my accounts, slides he kept in my closet, his own bedroom that was left just as he liked it, and he knew this house was his other home.
My favorite memories of Tommy are always of making triple the food when Tommy was around because I knew he would make the biggest mountain of food on his plate. After the pile of food started the bickering between self-chosen brother and sister (Bella and Tommy) would immediately arise about who was going to eat the last of the food- is Tommy left any that is. Tommy did not always win against Bella but he lived for the fight.
Tommy was always wanting to help and just be around. He would cook us macaroni and cheese and loved to grill us food. Tommy had an amazing ability to feel other's pain in hard times in life and would always check on you and protect those he loved from others hurting them.
The most important part about Tommy is that loved me and he always knew without a doubt that I loved him. He knew he was my nephew, family, and that I would always have his back. I cherish the last phone call we had right before he passed. He was the happiest I had ever heard him to be. He was so full of hope and possibilities for his future. You are greatly missed and your spirit and memories will always be here with us in our hearts and soul.
