Steve was a member of the Class of 1959 from LeRoy. He is the second one in our class to die. There were 10 of us and it was the last graduating class before consolidation. Here is what is printed above his picture in the yearbook Basketball 1,2,3,4; Baseball 1,2,3,4; Track 3,4; Dramatics 3,4 and Concert Band 1. His MOTTO 'A mule can't pull while he is kicking and he can't kick while he is pulling, neither can You.' Steve's Ambition 'To be a money making farmer'. He was indeed blessed. To make money for our senior trip to Colorado, we cleaned out chicken house before school; the boys cut down hedge rows and others classmates could add to the story! So very sorry for your loss. Praying for your family. We will all miss Steve. I didn't know him for very long, but really enjoyed the time I did get to spend with him. He always made me laugh and that is what I will remember. God bless.
