Mr. Rembe and Cami, Sherry will be greatly missed. She accomplished so much in her lifetime. I learned even more things about her that I hadn't even realized until reading this write-up. She was such an intelligent lady and good teacher. I had the honor of getting to be one of her students. She and I conversed via e-mail back and forth when we were both fighting breast cancer. As always, she maintained such a good sense of humor. What's more, she was truly a fighter and dealt w this so well. She will me missed. Wish I could have been there for the services. My thoughts and prayers to Mr Rembe, Cami and family. I was one of her many 4th grade students at the old Promise City school. She was a wonderful teacher and I remember her showing us the safe way to see the eclipse of the sun. She gave all of her students 100% and will be dearly missed.
Mr. Rembe, Cami & family, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I have so many memories of Mrs. Rembe. I used to think she was crazy because she would walk to our house most weekdays during the summer (16 miles round trip). Then she would help with our softball practices. My favorite memory of her being at our house was when our cat was delivering kittens and walking around, so she followed the cat and picked up the kittens. I also remember her assigning us to write the multiplication facts ten times over Christmas break; I still hold a slight grudge. I remember spending a lot of time before and after school hanging out when she taught with Mom. She was a very kind person who cared about the children of Seymour. God bless her.
Dear Mr. Rembe and Cami, I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Rembe's passing. She fought such a courageous battle. When I think of Mrs. Rembe I visualize her walking the roadways around Seymour. I can't imagine how many miles she logged walkingrunning throughout her lifetime. It would be staggering! I didn't have the privilege of having Mrs. Rembe as a teacher, but many kids of Seymour did. Rest in peace, Mrs. Rembe. My condolences to Mr. Rembe, Cami, and the Hill family.
