Sandy will be greatly missed. I had the privilege of being her secretary and friend. She was a great supervisor, co-worker, and friend. I'm glad she was part of my life! My sincerest condolences to Sandy's family. During the years I worked with Sandy at RMA (FCIC), I had a lot of fun and laughs with Sandy, as did a lot of others. She was my supervisor for a period of time and a good one taught me a lot. Sandy was one of the hardest workers I've ever met, but she sure knew how to have a good time. Sandy was a clever poet and wrote a poem about my daughter when she was a teenager that I will always cherish. I was telling my daughter about that poem just last week. I told her I needed to get it out and give it to her. I told her I knew that she would appreciate the humor now. I know how much Sandy's family meant to her and vice versa. I know you will miss her greatly. However, I'm sure Sandy left you with a ton of wonderful, fun memories. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during the coming days. Sandy will be greatly missed! She was there to show me around KC when I moved down here for college and was a savior when I had car problems. Oh Grandma Sandy what memories I have with this special lady. She took me and my brother right in and adopted us as one of her own grandchildren from day one. We spent many many summer daysnights at the pool, going rollerskating, having cook outs, and just having plan ol country fun. Most of my childhood memories were filled with Grandma Sandy. I have always loved you and you will be greatly missed. Heaven better watch out because you just got one heck of angel!
