So sorry for Ruby's family, and friends. She was the nicest lady, and will be missed. I am thinking of Frances Sales, who really loved her aunt and visited her often. She always stopped and smiled when I mentioned Frances, and we often shared memories. The last time I saw Ruby, she was sitting in a chair at the Corydon Care Center, and we talked about her niece, and she was delighted I knew Frances. A smile on her face, is how I remember this dear lady.
Ruby was our family baby sitter for many years and like our local grandma. Ronald and Ruby were the best neighbors, and I have so many fond memories of spending time at their house and on the farm. She turned me into the coffee drinker I am today, although I'm pretty sure the coffee I drank at her house when I was little was mostly cream. :) I also loved her bread and gravy and would request my own mom to make it when I needed some comfort food. I loved visiting with her when I was in Wayne County. I especially got a kick out of seeing her 'walking' her cat Sam. Sending love to her family. She was a special lady.

To me Aunt Ruby will always be Grandma's "ornery" sister, and I delighted in calling her "trouble" every chance I got! I think we both greatly enjoyed teasing each other. I know I did! 🙂 I have a keepsake of yours hanging on my wall, and will always think of you when I look at it. Rest in peace trouble, you will be missed. 😪❤
