Ruby was our family baby sitter for many years and like our local grandma. Ronald and Ruby were the best neighbors, and I have so many fond memories of spending time at their house and on the farm. She turned me into the coffee drinker I am today, although I'm pretty sure the coffee I drank at her house when I was little was mostly cream. :) I also loved her bread and gravy and would request my own mom to make it when I needed some comfort food. I loved visiting with her when I was in Wayne County. I especially got a kick out of seeing her 'walking' her cat Sam. Sending love to her family. She was a special lady.
