Our family's sympathy to James, Charles, Nancy, and Margaret Rose, plus the entire extended family on the passing of your mother. I am the youngest daughter of your first cousin, Euncie (Gordon) Martinson. My memory of your family was a visit to our home in Harcourt, Iowa when I was a young girl. Also, I remember your mother coming back to Iowa for the summers and opening up the farmhouse to stay in with some of you as kids. My sister, Diane Jones of Perry, and I want to thank you for visiting our parents on your trip to Iowa. That was a bright spot in my mother's day! We are so sorry that we were unable to attend Ruby's funeral in Unionville due to our own son and wife coming home for the holidays at that same time from Memphis, TN. My deepest sympathy to the family. I am Lee and Eva Wyldes' daughter. Although years have past, I remember most of Addie Hull's family. We lived in Unionville for 13 years. I know my parents knew all of your family. I was a baby sitter for Helen Job and so was my mother. I played basketball with Edith Daniels Hull in Centerville, Iowa and remember her husband, Donald. Hi James and the rest of the family. I would be there for the funeral and visitation but I am in central Arkansas at my daughter Beckys' house until the 28th or so. I have great memories of spending time at the Gordan farm here in Iowa. It always was a special time and I couldn't wait for Aunt Ruby to open up the house for summer. Margaret Rose and I always thought that Aunt Ruby never knew when we would climb out the upstairs window and set out on the roof. I can still hear her say you girls are not on the roof are you I'm sure she knew and that was just her way of letting us know to get back in the house. I could go on forever with my special memories of a very special lady, she always made everything so special and I'm so luck to have had her for my aunt.
