I had the pleasure of being B.B.B.'s (Big Brother Bob's) baby sister for over 42 years. He told me stories of how he would get up with me in the middle of the night and rock me back to sleep so Mom could sleep. When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, I was scared, but B.B.B. was there to talk to me through it. The day I got married he almost passed out at my wedding. He was always very protective of me and didn't want me to be grown up I guess. When I got the call to come back home from Colorado, he told me he would wait to tell me goodbye, he did and I was so lucky to get 3 more days with him. I think of him daily, looking up 'On a Cloud' to see if I can see him. I will forever carry my memories and his love in my heart. I miss you B.B.B. I love you and know one day we will be together again...
What a joy, to see the memories about my B.B.B. (big brother Bob) Nancy Niday said a lot when she mentioned how proud Bob was to present Uncle Lloyd's flag to Aunt Bonnie, I think about that moment often and can still see him down on one knee and hearing him say, 'in honor of MY Uncle your husband Lloyd Thomas I'm proud to present this American Flag to his family.' Uncle Lloyd passed away two weeks before Bob passed away. Larry Trumper what fond memories you have of my brother. It is so hard for me to realize that he is gone...3 weeks after we found out he had cancer we were at his visitation What an empty spot he has left in our family tree Three days before B.B.B. passed he got to take one last ride on a motorcycle. The doctors let him out of the hospital to ride in a side car, with one of our other brothers leading the way on his motorcycle. Before Bob left the hospital parking lot, he told me that he was going to take his last ride and when he got back he would then be ready to go home. The next day, Bob went into a deep sleep. I have many wonderful memories of my brother and miss him. In honor of my B.B.B. ... thank you for the memories, I love and miss you daily!!
I was a child last time I saw Bob. My parents were friends of Bob senior and Nelma. They were all good people and I have often thought all of them. I was looking up Bob and Nelma for my mother when I found this. Our prayers and love are with the rest of the family. I ne er thought about being a professional musician until I met the Hysell family. We wish you all many blessings and happiness.

I grew up with Bob on the farm north of Clio. Was a classmate, and was one of those friends you never talked to for years but when you did it was just like yesterday. A great person many good memories. RIP Bob
Joyce and Family, We were so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We didn't know him well, but last week when we met him at his uncle's family and when he presented the flag, it was evident how much he loved his country and his family. Bob was a great guy and friend always hlping with Legion Business and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was my 5th Dist. American Legion Vice Commander and also him and Dale shared the job as 5th District American Legion Rider Chairman for our District. My prayers and my family send our prayers and the whole 5th District American Legion Family send our prayers and thoughts your way. What a great friend and man he will be truely missed.
