Reva was my favorite aunt. I spent many weeks staying at her house out on the farm. Bill and I would play cowboys and Indians in the field next to the house. I can remember plucking feathers off of freshly killed chickens, or running to the cave out side the house when the tornado siren sounded.
As I got older, I wanted to sing just like her, and did for quite some time. She sounded a lot like Karen Carpenter. I think she was asked to be the singer for some program on WHO.
I loved this woman. She was my Mothers little sister. I remember Mom and I visiting her several times when she lived in Durant. We even met her special friend.
Reva, you will always have a place in my heart.
Love Always.
