Phyllis A Arnold's Obituary
Phyllis Ann Stout Arnold, 88, of Corydon, Iowa passed away April 20, 2026 at EveryStep Kavanagh House in Des Moines, Iowa.
Phyllis was born November 15, 1937 to Everett & Mina (Anderson) Stout in Lucas County Iowa. She is the first of two children born to this union. Phyllis attended Chariton High School graduating in 1956.
On June 10, 1956 Phyllis was united in marriage to Keith Bruce Arnold, to this union, two children were born, Richard Alvin & Joan Kay.
Keith and Phyllis lived north of Chariton until 1965. They moved to Wayne County where they continued to farm until Keith's passing it in 2018, Phyllis remained on the farm until now.
Phyllis enjoyed meeting with friends and family at Hardee's and attending family get togethers.
Phyllis played electronic keyboard for many years at jams at Joan's restaurant in Millerton. She also played piano for the New York Christian Church, and Millerton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her two children Richard Alvin Arnold (Nancy), Joan Kay Hardcastle, her brother, Fred of Brownsville, Texas, and numerous extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Keith.
