She and Keith were a large part of my family's life especially my two boys. they came over for celebrations and we really enjoyed it. she really liked to see the boys and watch them grow. we also enjoyed playing at all the jams together. She was a talented musician. She will be missed

Phyllis was a special friend of mine, and we were neighbors for years, she was the sweetest lady, and always was so welcoming into her home. She mentioned she played the piano, and I talked her into teaching piano to my daughter, Amy, they both loved it. She played the piano at our wedding in 2004, and here are some favorite pictures of Phyllis. I will miss her. I am so glad I called and visited with her last month, she told me she was living with Jo in Des Moines, and it was "Home". I was glad for her. Sorry to her family. Carolyn (Stone) Hoxton
Phyllis was a woman of deep kindness, a joyful spirit, and an unforgettable laugh. She was a cherished friend to my Grandma, Wanda Peck, and some of my favorite childhood memories come from watching the two of them together at the farm during club gatherings. I also remember hanging out with my grandparents on Jam Nights at Joan’s, where Phyllis’s love of music lit up the room. Her warmth, talent, and generosity touched so many lives, including mine. I feel truly grateful to have known her.
