I am saddened at Dr Frank's passing. He was our family Doctor while we lived in Greenfield. He always had a smile and a kind word. We were privileged to be able to watch he and Sandy's children when they went to Montana to check out a job. Dr. and Mrs. Frankl moved to our neighborhood on 36th St while he was attending med school. I used to babysit David, Elisa, and Shane, and enjoyed the entire family. I have good memories of their family in the late 1960s and when we had our son years later we named him David, remembering what an awesome little boy their firstborn was. My sincere condolences to the entire family.

I knew the Frankl family while at Greenfield. Our thoughts and prayers with all the family. I enjoyed teaching and coaching the kids. Dr Frankl delivered two of my children. My kids have brought up the Frank family many times. God Bless you all.

Thoughts and Prayers to all of Pat Frankl's family! I remember him very well and he will be truly missed! I remember Flint Creek Valley Days parade were Pat had a team he was driving. My dad and myself were outriders. Pat had to deliver a baby at the hospital so dad took over the team and Pat rode dad's horse to the hospital! That's about as western as you can get!
You all have gain a very special guardian angel!
Pat was an exceptional care giver. It was my pleasure to have him as my Doctor in the years that he practiced in Philipsburg. We all mourned his leaving Montana to return to Iowa but his friends understood why he had no choice. RIP Pat

Dr. Frankl was amazing. He always did things above and beyond any one. When I gave birth(accidentally) to my youngest son at home during a snow storm in November , Dr. Frankl came bebopping into the ranch in his vw bug thru the snow to check how I was after Georgie delivered our son. Jay and I were ok but couldn't move for three day because of cumstances of the birth. He helped with the paperwork of getting our son's birth certificate to helping me along with my obstetrician that I had a live birth certificate. He also checked on me in those 3 days( there was 3 to 4 ft of snow, we couldnt go out with new born but he got in) to make sure I was good to go while keeping in touch with the ob with updates. Dr. Frankl didn't have to do that but there he was when needed and did alot to make sure a person was well and give a sence of certainty of well being that you can depend on.

I loved working with this man!! Such an incredible amount of knowledge and orneriness rolled into one.
One of his "tips" for me was
"Do you wanna know what the best diet is? A piece of bread and drink a glass of water. The water swells the bread and then you're full."
Had to be true because it was coming out of the mouth of a doctor, right?

Dear Sandy and family, The memories of my 17 years with Dr. Frankl and your loving family are so many I won't get started! A kind and generous bunch all of you were to me and my family. I admired Dr. Frankl very much as a true family man who was tough, full of love for each of you and a proud husband and father.
