My first & fondest memories of Uncle Orris are the many Thanksgivings at the Moulton Community Center. Orris was ever present & ever pleasant. I enjoyed our conversations. As always with Orris, you do most of the talking. His quiet mannerism always made you feel as if you were the important one & that made him the important one. I have many fond memories of uncle orris from helping him to milk the cows or just sitting the backyard after milking was done. I remember him showing me things when milking the cows and he was always kind and gentle when doing so.
