Knowing Norma and being a part of her life has always been filled with special memories. She was quiet, but had words of wisdom to share as a seasoned mother. She would encourage me when I needed it, cried with me during the sad times, laughed with me when times presented a joyous occasion, and always had frozen strawberry jam as a welcome when we came down. Yes, she would lovingly give me a suggestion if she thought I wasn't doing something quite right . But through it all, I always felt her love. Even in later years, she made sure I knew her door was opened for a visit . She had a way of letting you know you were important to her. She was special and I'm thankful for the time I had with her.Sorry I couldn't be with you today, but will keep you in my thoughts during this time. Posted by Linda Eden - South Amana, IA July 10, 2011
