Nicky Nelson Michael, 67, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with amyloidosis. A funeral service will be held at Thomas Funeral Home on Frida Read Obituary

I had the opportunity to speak with Nick several times and he was always very polite and friendly. My sympathies to his family and friends
Parkview Church of Christ will never be the same without his cheerful presence. He would come straight from the farm some Sundays, and was so glad to be there. He loved to sing and was very complimentary to my participation when he led songs. He will be very missed, until we meet again. God bless his family during this difficult time.

We want to send condolences to Nicky's family. We have known Nicky since the early days of Twin States Pulling. We had a long friendship through pulling and also as a good friend. He will be missed. Randy Hart and Leroy Felten families.

I called on Nick many times over the last 14 years for advice and council. I will miss his wise reason and steadfast friendship. He helped calm the storms in me many times with his patience and reassurance. He always stood on the solid rock and was quick to pull others up to stand with him. Our church will miss his joyful vigor as he led us in so many cherished hymns over the years.
