Oh my gosh, so many memories! Can remember her giving Irma a bath in a small tub on top of the kitchen table at Grandma's. Can remember her cleaning and cooking and canning and cleaning and cooking and carrying for the residents at the county home. Can remember her efforts to stay healthy and keep Uncle Wink healthy with her walking and meals. She loved the county fair and their participation for many years. She loved Covered Bridge days in Winterset. She loved and was so proud of her grandsons and their friends and later, their wives and great grandchildren. We always were excited when Uncle Wink and she would visit my folks, sister Katie and Clell in Wisconsin, usually in the Fall....or at our cottage in Minnesota. We loved listening to their stories of their youth and families and dating, and travels. We didn't get to see them as much as when we were younger and would visit southern Iowa more often but they will always be in our memories. Aunt Dorothy was a classy lady...always...and we're happy she will now be with Uncle Wink. Our love to Irma, boys and families. Di and family
