Michael Lynn Leazer's Obituary
Michael L. Leazer, 70 of Corydon passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Monroe County Care Center in Albia.
Mike was born to Harold & Bernita (Achor) Leazer on July 4, 1951 in Centerville, Iowa. Michael received his education from Wayne Community High School, graduating in 1969. He would further his education and graduate from Northeast Missouri State University in 1973 with a degree in Economics.
Mike was employed by Hy-Vee and Deflecta Shield for many years. He was an avid reader; he loved to travel and loved to argue politics.
Survivors include cousins: Ann Finlaw (Jim), Ralph Achor (Sandra), Raymond Achor (Debra), Steve Leazer, Linda Arriaga, JoBeth Trimble (Gary), Gary Booher, Dean Booher (Joyce) and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Linton & Zella (Hellyer) Achor and John & Libbie (Crees) Leazer.
Per Mike's wishes his body was cremated and no service has been planned at this time. Inurnment will take place in Corydon Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com or facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
