One of the first things I think of in my memories, and my favorite, is the fish in the canoe and Suz flipping out. Your comment was " Honey, it isn't Jaws".

Mike was genuine. He always made me feel welcome and loved to have a good conversation. The wine he made will always be a good memory. I will miss him. It was a blessing to have known him, God Bless.
We only had the opportunity to meet Michael a few times. He was the son of our dear neighbors Joe and Margaret. Once he and Sue brought a nice bottle of wine to our house as a thank you for his parents. They were so very proud of him and his family. Always telling of the wonderful way he cared for his patients and so gifted in his role as a nurse. We are saddened to hear of your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sue and the kids. I am sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Mike for many years in the Cath Lab at the university of Iowa. I LOVED working with Mike. He was a compassionate and very knowledgeable nurse. In the heat of the moment, it was reassuring having Mike by my side during a cardiac arrest. He will be missed, but never forgotten. We joked that Mike was my work Dad but he really was. He always played jokes and made work so fun. He spoke so so highly of his wife, daughter and son. He loved hearing stories of my two boys and was so excited for retirement. He said he was made to be a trophy husband. What a sweet loving soul that will be so missed but never forgotten.
