Mike - how does one even know where to start One of the orneriest but best guys I have ever known. He took me mushroom hunting a couple of years ago. SUPPOSE to be his secret, best-ever spots. Not that year - no fungus fouind, except on my toenails. Walked around Rathbun - I think maybe 100 miles (seemed like it, anyway). The most significant thing that happened was he was supposed to stay by the car while I walked down the hill and checked out an area below. Of course, he didn't stay by the car. I looked up and he was laying over a fallen tree trunk, kicking like a donkey. I just stayed behind the tree I was watching from and he finally got his footing and was headed back to the car. Neither one of us ever mentioined it, tho I was imagining me trying to drag him with his cane around his neck, scolding him all the way, back to the car. Had some great times with Mike and Connie (my bestie). They were so nice to me and would invite me to even stay over after Pancake Day or when I would go and not get going before dark. Best people ever, Tom and Chuck. And I think it has rubbed off on you boys - you're not so bad, either ! Love and prayers, Cathy
