Mary Margaret Adams' Obituary
Mary Margaret Adams, 95, of Centerville passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Accura Health Care in Ames. Mary Margaret was born on August 15, 1923 in Cincinnati, Iowa to Steve & Eva (Crnkovich) Raskie. Mary Margaret was united in marriage to Albert "Abie" Adams. Mary Margaret was a homemaker, who put her entire family ahead of herself throughout her life. She loved her family to the fullest and was a true, one of a kind lady. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids. She was very talented with arts & crafts, enjoyed cooking for her family and when they were able, her and Abie collected antiques. She was loved by so many and her family is at peace knowing that she has been reunited with her loved ones in paradise. Survivors include her son, Ronnie Adams; grandchildren: Mary Jo A. Delacruz (Ignacio), Wade Adams, Tammy Burgher (Wade) and Terry Smothers; great grandchildren: Malachi and Izaiya Valderrabano, Noah Delacruz, Ashton Adams, Tyler and Matt Burgher and Taylor, Zac and Tanner Smothers; great great grandchildren: Payton, Emma, Cora, Cole and Saillor Burgher and Piper and Kinsley Smothers; siblings: Gabe Raskie (Betty), Steve Raskie, Christina Kolniak, Cecilia Budiselich, Patricia Jolly and Helen Hawk as well as numerous extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Abie" Adams; son, Larry Adams; daughter, June Moore; brothers: George, Carl and Mike Raskie and her sisters: Eva Ruark and Frances Sniegowski. We would like to thank Joanie, Joanne and Alex Burgher; Patty Timmens and all of her special care givers for showing much love and compassion. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Mary's Church in Centerville. Interment will immediately follow at Oakland Cemetery.
