Gramma Mary, just a few of our favorite memories that we shared together and that I will treasure for a lifetime Many walks to Aunt Franny's home barefoot, fun Cincinnati trips down to visit Grandpa & Grandma Raskie, back alley walks and picking black berries, Chinese checkers on my sleepovers, gardening and those big beautiful yellow sunflowers that would grow so very tall, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows in the backyard down on Jackson Street, that blue aluminum tumbler that you always held back for me because you knew that was my favorite color, keeping my drinks ice cold, those wonderful back and foot messages that you were so perfect at, My sweet little nickname that you and Aunt Dorothy always called me (Tammy Tutu), fresh crisp linens straight off the clothesline to snuggle down into at night, a morning cup of coffee because I wanted to be just like My Grandma, it was only a few little sips because you would always say 'not too much because it will Rust your tummy', the sweet quiet whispering in the mornings not to awaken Grandpa after his long night at the Bowling Alley, swinging on the porch swing and singing our silly songs with laughter, our many, many trips around town to visit family and friends and a trip now and then to the church to deliver a covered dish just like the Tuna and Noodle Casserole I stepped on as I was getting into your car. You told the ladies the story as you were pulling back the foil from the dish and you said 'and now it just looks like a fish print in my casserole'. You had all of the ladies laughing and kept me from crying that day. YOU SAVED THE DAY, with your beautiful positive attitude! You taught me how to make some of your favorite food receipts, steak and polenta, cabbage casserole, green fried pepper sandwich (one of Grandpa's favorites), green leaf salad with your awesome vinegar and oil dressing, nut rolls and that all time favorite lemon meringue pie, watching 'I LOVE LUCY' & 'CAROL BURNET' shows were our favorites! One day you did something really funny and you said 'oh I'm as silly as Lucy' and from that day on I always called you 'My Lucy.' You made me laugh, sing and dance throughout our lives! I will always be eternally grateful for your Beautiful, Fun Loving Sense of Humor and that Caring and Nurturing gift that you shared throughout your journey. To have had you for 60 years of my life and now to let go is ever so difficult for me. But now.......GO SING, DANCE AND FLY HIGH MY ANGLE, you have a bunch of people up there ready for a New Celebration! I Love You Gramma Mary!!!!
