I have so many memories from the holidays over the years, sick days I spent at your house and bringing my babies to visit you. You were always busy doing something. Reading the stack of newspapers that you could never quite keep up with, maybe because you were so busy snipping out Dear Abby columns and comic strips to send to whoever it reminded you of. Keeping your house oh so clean tidy with everything in its place. Every meal felt like a treat, not sure why your food tasted so much better than when others would make it using the exact same recipe. Thanks for the countless bowls of rice with bread and butter (warmed up in the microwave). You were a hardworking, patient and caring person. Hopefully some of that rubbed off on me. (I know the housekeeping part didn't.)Grandma, Grandma I'm already missing you. Posted by Amie Davidson - Kelley, IA - Granddaughter February 29, 2012
