I was sad to hear of Marian's passing. I saw her at Pancake Day last year and knew she wasn't good. I went to Marian's day care from age 4-12, and knew her and her family very well. At Pancake Day I attempted to name all of her children in order of birth. I missed it by one. The time I spent in her home had a significant influence on my life. I was sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. You all had a remarkable mother. I remember sleeping over on a Friday night at your house one time -- on Saturday morning, I remember the upstairs coming to life with kids everywhere cleaning house! It's an image I will never forget! If anyone wants to know how incredible Mrs. Wonderlich was, just take a look at her incredible children. Lee,Dan & Stella and all the Wonderlich's Meeting Your Mom and Dad at your retirement,was a true blessing and leaves us with many fond memories, seeing what a wonderful couple they were something that we missed. To see your dad speaking to your mom the LOVE that was there( and still is ) & the patience and kindness he showed speaking and explaining things to her, the gentleness in his voice,we don't see many couples like that, Our family really enjoyed that day and even the ice cream treat that Dan bought all of us I know that your family has many memories and the love that your dad and mom has is still there but in all of you, we continue to pray that God will comfort you. Lee, Dan and Stella and all the Wonderlich Family,We send our heartfelt condolences, feeling we have been blessed to have enjoyed Marian's company during Dan's retirement a few years past. We especially remember all riding in the van to Washington D.C.- all of us feeling the love Lee and Marian reflected and seeing the special attentiveness that Lee gave to Marian -. Dear Lee and family I sure wish I could have been in Centerville today. We are in Wichita ks or I would have been. I have so many great memories of Marion and all of you kids. Your mom was truly a remarkable women and did it all with such class. I always loved when she would stick her teeth out (what a thing to remember)!! I was so glad my Mom was able to come today.
