Margaret Lucille Turner's Obituary
Margaret Lucille (Clark) Turner, age 79, of Moravia, Iowa, died Friday, November 12, 2004, at her home in Moravia, Iowa. She was born the daughter of the late Raymond Clark and the late Lottie (Long) Clark on July 2, 1925 in Mystic, Iowa. In 1942, she graduated from Centerville High School in Centerville, Iowa.On October 15, 1941, Margaret was united in marriage to Francis Turner in Lancaster, Missouri. Margaret was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women in Moravia, Iowa; Hilton Ladies Aid; was a 4-H leader, and always helped on the farm and in Francis's hearing aid business. She loved homemaking and her hobbies were knitting, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, watching birds, gardening, and fishing.Margaret was preceded in death by: her parents; husband Francis Turner on June 8, 2000; and son Albert Turner on December 2, 2001.She is survived by: her daughters Marilyn and her husband Ronald Barker of Moravia, Iowa and Jeanne and her husband Gary Talbot of Shelley, Idaho; daughter-in-law Beverly Turner of Fort Madison, Iowa; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Geneva Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at the Concord Cemetery in Mystic, Iowa. Those acting as pallbearers will be: Alan Clark, Danny Turner, Robert Barker, Allen Barker, Steve Crall, and Brian Crall.
