Lois and I became good friends working on church projects. Lois was the most devoted Christian I have ever known. I told Lois I sure hope some of you rubs off on me. She made me feel really good, she said it has.
Dear Harris Family, I am sad to hear of Lois' passing but so thankful to know that she is well and happy with her Savior! Tony and I both thought so much of Lois, first knowing her when she worked at the bank. It was a joy to then worship with her. She was a lovely lady and will be much missed. May God bless and comfort you during this time. Love to all, Jean Beeler
We were all saddened to learn this information regarding Lois. We had a good visit with Lois last year in Moulton, All of the family is in our thoughts and prayers and Lois will be missed by many. Wilma Watkins Sandra Andrews David Andrews
So sorry to hear of Lois' passing. Though I haven't seen her for many years have fond memories of when our families got to together as kids. My Dad was Paul Wilcox and Uncle to Lois. Thoughts and prayers are with the remaining family!
I will always miss Aunt Lois making snacks for us. She made really good cookies and fudge.
I remember Lois always being so pleasant and encouraging. I first met her years ago at the Pennsylvania Ave. Church in Ottumwa when I was a new Christian. She was a great example of what a Christian lady should be. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. Gale & Cor Vermeulen
Lois was a very special lady. I first met her in 1994 when I came into the Church of Christ. Eunice Mickey and I was going out to lunch and Lois joined us. Then I worked at JcPenney with her and we developed a friendship there and also through the church. She always had a smile on her face. When Francis and I got married in 1999 Lois made the dresses and vests for our attendants. After our daughter was born she even made some little dresses for her. She is a very special person to us and she will be missed. She is in a better place now with now pain. Your memories of Lois will always keep her close to you. Keeping you all in our prayers. Lots of fond memories of Lois and her many abilities.and sharing her knowledge with others. She was also one of my Bible School teachers at Mark. She was also good to visit my Dad and send him cards. May her family be comforted knowing that she is no longer in pain.
