Leo Seals, 67 of Albia formerly of Centerville passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. Leo was born to Leo Nelson Sr. & Violet (Livingston) Seals on June 22, 1943 in Centerville. He married Pamela K. Garr on December 3, 1962. Leo was employed by Reed Excavation in Albia and enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. He made custom fishing poles and fixed reels for many people. Leo is survived by his wife Pamela of Albia, two sons; Leon of Sterling, Illinois, Raymond Seals (Dawn) of Sigourney, two sisters; Geniveve Mehrhoff(Roger) of Centerville, Ella Kehrberg(Bob) of Moravia, four grandchildren; David Suckow(Megan) of Des Moines, Denise Ewing(Richard) of Unionville, Iowa, Rachel Gullion(Jeff) of Mechanicsville, Iowa, Miranda Seals of Sigourney, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home. Visitation will be all day Thursday with the family present from 6-8 p.m.. Interment will be in Dale Cemetery.
