I have known Lawrence for as long as I have known Helen which is some 21 some years, we hit it off right away, like a kindred spirit, he was always giving me a hard time and I always gave it right back to him. He told me to call him 'Dad', I felt very honored by that request, I truly loved him very much. I will always hold in my heart the memories of the many games of 'phase 10' and 'dominoes'. He was so Funny!! Helen n I would tell him if either one of us died the other one would take care of him, he would look at the both of us n grin. He took such a great joy in life, fishing and his guns, and the many friends and family brought him the most Joy. When he got that twinkle in his eye, you better watch out he was usually up to something, and you might be on the receiving end of it. My thoughts n prayers go out to his family.I am sorry for your loss, GOD took home a wonderful person, n I am sure he is Fishing somewhere on that sweet 'by n by' n someday we will meet him at that Shore, rest in peace 'dad'' Love you, (girly) a.k.a.
