I don't know the man who died but I do and will forever remember growing up and sharing fun times with the Larry Wendland from childhood. Words can't express my sadness and sympathies for his family and loved ones. He will always hold palace in my heart. I am so sorry for your loss! Even though years have passed since I have seen Larry I will always hold a special place in my heart for him. I grew up with him. I still have a hard time calling him Larry...he will always be Bubby to me. His smile, his laugh and his kind heart will always be remembered. Larry was one of the greatest men i ever got the chance to meet...he was great in many ways but the one that means the most to me is that you took me in and claimed me as your daughter. you stood up for me, supported me, and loved me unconditionally. i will miss your laugh, hugs, and smile. i will miss your dorky dance moves and your cinnamon rolls you would make just to cheer me up. i won't have you here to paint my toe nails because heaven forbid i gave birth with toes looking like that. your sense of humor was great in many ways. the boys will miss you greatly but chancey knows you are right by his side because he told me. i will always carry you in my heart and hold all of our memories close. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I knew Larry in elementary school and have wonderful memories of him. When I moved and changed schools I lost touch with him and many others. I didn't know him as an adult. I bumped into him a couple of times through our high school years and he was still the kind hearted, charming person he was in elementary school; as I am sure he was the same way as an adult also. It deeply saddens me that his life ended so short. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
