I don't know the man who died but I do and will forever remember growing up and sharing fun times with the Larry Wendland from childhood. Words can't express my sadness and sympathies for his family and loved ones. He will always hold palace in my heart. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I knew Larry in elementary school and have wonderful memories of him. When I moved and changed schools I lost touch with him and many others. I didn't know him as an adult. I bumped into him a couple of times through our high school years and he was still the kind hearted, charming person he was in elementary school; as I am sure he was the same way as an adult also. It deeply saddens me that his life ended so short. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. My deepest condolences to the family. I was so saddened to hear that Larry has passed away. Even though I haven't been in touch with the family for years, I loved my Aunt Callie so much. The last time I was with her, we watched Larry play baseball and she was so proud of her son. I have many happy memories of her and the time we spent together. It is my prayer that God will be your source of strength and courage and that you might look to Him for comfort. Always remember the good things about Larry. I am so sorry that we have never been a part of each others lives physically, but I hold each one of you in my heart. I wanted to attend the services but couldn't figure out a way.
