Uncle Larry and Aunt Judy's sliding patio door was always open. Everyone was welcome in their home. What a prefect picture! That's the Uncle Larry I'll always remember. He never seemed to be in a hurry and his patience with us kids never ran out. How, I'll never know. I never saw him get mad or angry. His passion for eagles ran deep. Every time I see one soaring so effortlessly in the sky, I think of him. His love for family was genuine and sincere. He was as real as real gets. If I had to describe him in 5 words or less, I'd say, Uncle Larry was a simple kind of man. Posted by Terry Sherman - Albia, IA - Niece March 31, 2014
