Jeff Bates, was an amazing guy, I was with him a week before he died and I know that h e would have done anything for any of us, We had some good memories with him over the years, I miss him.
I just talked to my brother Kevin and found out the Jeff passed away. My condolences go out to the family. I haven't seen Jeff since I was young but I know that my brother is grieving. Jeff was a big part of our teenage years as he was my brothers best friend. Always had a smile or something funny to say. We loved him like he was part of our family and he was. I am so sorry for your loss but know he is in a better place. As long as you remember him, you will never be without him.
Art, So sorry to hear about Jeff. I didn't know until right now. Our thoughts are with you. Penny and Rick Sharp
I've known Jeff since he was a little boy. To me he was a sweet little boy. He and his good friend Toad painted our house when they were about 16. They stayed in our basement. He's always had a special place in my heart.
Cali and Family, We are thinking of you today and send our love, prayers and sympathy. Brian and Phyllis Cole

On my 28th birthday we met Jeff at the Lake, and he took us to some of my Grandpas best fishing spots, then he told me a little bait trick on how to catch the big cats, and low and behold, took that trick and casted, caught a 10lb cat on my bday, and Jeff was sitting right behind me just a smiling! I will never forget that smile, and the great stories! We Love you Jeff, you will be missed terribly.
Brian, Stephanie, Hunter and Kierra and to the entire Bates Family, Condolances and prayers to all of you. Sorry for your loss. May you find comfort with your memories. From; Tony, Donna, Kaitlynn, Kayci and Kassadee Hawkins
