Nicely stated, James was a true icon of Seymour. He was diffidently part of the greatest generation. I don't believe he knew a stranger. James was a great inspiration to his family and truly loved by all. He helped raise a wonderful family and in return he received their eternal love. So long Jim, we have lost you but not forgotten. I knew Jim as far back as I can remember. Growing up in small town, Seymour, Iowa was made all the sweeter with guys like this to look up to. Favorite memories were seeing he & young Jim heading out to trap & coonhunt, Jim & the Nieghborhood Tap boys playing a good game of cards, & most recently when the guys roofed our house last summer. Prayers to those he has left behind.
