Jim was my brother, Doug's, friend , so through the years we hung out a few times but I always knew what Jim was up to and he knew my life through Doug. When I was in Florida at our apartment he would call Doug in the Winter of 2020-3021 he would call Doug 4-5 times a day and always say I'll call you later. When he didn't call back Doug knew something was wrong but didn't want to believe that Jim could be gone. He took a part of us with him. I look forward to seeing him again when he will be in good health and no pain and he'll be able to think clearly. An incredible thing about Jim was his amazing memory for dates. I have never met anyone else with that ability to the extent he had. One time about 2 years ago I asked Doug if he remembered when , Dave Tripp, Jim, Doug and I went out drinking in our teens. He said, That didn't happen. I never took you out with those guys. I said Ask Jim. Jim replies, Yep, it was August 26, 1975. He not only remembered us going out but 48 years later he knew the exact date. I am a person who remembers dates but absolutely no comparison to Jim. The last time I talked to Jim was about two weeks before his death and it was simply Hi Jim over Doug's speaker phone.Rest In Peace Jim until we meet in Paradise. Revelation 213,4
