It's getting bout that time, Jade was a vey good person I always remember him making me laugh! Just wanted to let his family know I think of him and you guys all the time, Betty I see you every once and awhile you are a very stong and inspirational woman. Miss you all. Our prayers and thoughts to your family for the loss of Jade. He was such a nice young man and we have met him several times during our time at Lake Rathbun. We don't live there year around as we live in Dubuque, Iowa most of the year. Will always remember his kindness and smile. Truly a wonderful young man whose life ended way too soon. Jade touched so many lives in such a short lifetime. He was well known and so well-liked. I'm sure you have been overwhelmed by the multitudes of people who are there for you. Although I don't know you well (Betty , I just met you last week at your home, I'm the Alliant meter reader) I wanted to express my condolences. I loved Jade! He always seemed so mature for his age, he spoke so highly of his family I felt like I knew you thru our conversations. We had some great times at thelake and he will be missed. My Thoughts and prayers are with all of you,, Betty Lou, Jon Jon, Gus and frog...... Last time I saw or spoke with Jade Was at my uncle Ted's Funeral. He DOne what Jade done best trying to cheer the Family up with his smile that would light up a whole room.. I Will never ever forget Jade and I feel very lucky that I have ALOT of memories of Jade that I will always hold near and dear to my heart.. Met Jade 1st time In Numa At my cousins when i was just a kiddo,, even way back then he would tease me about my red hair, and totally embarass me, which was his whole reasoning.. I had a secret crush on him back then;; then growing up Gus and I hung out quite a bit in High school and I was always being onrey,, Wouldnt do what any adult told me, so I found my self in foster care, or group homes,, to try to scare me.. LOL.. But guess what I always had these Numa friends that would help me get out,, and I would be freee,, maybe not legally but free) Guess where I would go Jades... He would come home from work,, see me and say oh NO its lil ms run away, what you doing here Then I start whining Jade cmon, and he would smile rreal big and let me stay, he had to tease,, i was never in any illegal trouble... But he never turned me away,, and I will Always remember that Jade didnt know a stranger, was always friendly,, and boy he could sure embarrass me and turn my face red, thinking back Jade Always brought that out in me, a bright red face.. These are just some of the little things I will always remember,, when he lived in the house on Main in Numa,, alot of GOOD times.... I pray for you all, please let god comfort you, and Im truly truly sorry for this awful tragedy,, he will always live on in everyone who knew him heart's. God Bless You All.....
