The Gilkison Family I truly enjoyed waiting on Marie at the bank all those years. We always had a good visit. Please accept my condolences. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Sara Tait
Aunt Marie and Uncle Jim. Fondest of memories will be in my heart for both of them. Aunt Marie live life to the fullest. She had compassion, honesty and love. I will miss her laugh, her voice, and her wisdom. My Mom and I both will miss you. LeRoy Jr.
Marie was my grandma Ginnys best friend. All of us kids thought of Jim and Marie as our grandparents. They would yell at us right along with our mom and grandma. My memories of Marie will be her sitting at the dining room table visiting gossiping with my grandma and all of her nick nacks in her house. Man did she have a ton! Marie was a very caring and thoughtful lady. She will be greatly missed by all of us. I am sure she is happy where she is now because she is now with her husband Jim, my grandma Ginny and my mom Patsy. Just like old times. I am sure they were all there waiting for her arrival.
I have many memories of both Jim and Marie. They were my grandma Ginny's best friends and spent many evenings at our home. Marie was a very nice lady and will be missed.
Grandma Marie was so loving.... she was the best cook ever; her creamed corn; salmon patties; potato patties; bacon fried in her cast iron skillet; She loved seeing the kids, playing with them, rocking them when they were babies. I miss her so much already; she is at peace now with the Lord; and now will be together with Grandpa Jim.
