Gurneth as I remember her was kind, loving, opinionated, stubborn, and full of life. Her love for her family (and lighthouses!) were proudly displayed throughout her home and talked about among friends. She was one cool gal and I'm so happy to have called her Grandma. She will be forever missed!
My memories of my Grandma are one's of warmth and kindness. I remember visiting centerville as a kid and going to her house and it just feeling like home. All her books and lighthouse niknaks enveloped you and brought the greatest of memories! There was a lot of grandkids but she always made sure to spread her love and always brought a smile to our faces! I'll miss seeing you at family reunions and pretending to not see you cheating at cards! Your memories will always be with me!
I remember Gurneth teaching me all about the nurses station and how things were to be done. Always smiling and laughing too- but don't take her scissors! What a wonderful life she had!

Gurneth was an active member of the Centerville Business and Professional Women's Club. She served the organization in many compacities including President. I enjoyed attending local and state meetings with her. She was a very kind woman. I extend my condolences to her family.
