All our sympathies and condolences to the families of Arlene and Bill Carter. News of Arlene's passing brings back many great memories of them both. They were treasured neighbors of my mother and father and extremely helpful to them in their later years of life. One of the most memorable was when Bill and Arlene brought Mom and Dad to our house in Manhattan, KS for what turned out to be their last trip to our house. The visit was memorable and a great Thanksgiving for all, perhaps 20 years ago with many other times and memories as our blessings. May you rest in peace and know how blessed we were to have your friendship and enjoy life's experiences as family celebrations.
