Zona, it has been a very long time since we saw you folks at Masonic functions etc. We moved to Colfax, IA 3 years ago from the farm to be near our 2 sons and their families. We don't care for town living, but great for seeing grandson who is now 11 yrs. We send our deepest sympathies to you, with prayers to you. We always enjoyed you folks. We all have fond memories. Zona, in January, 1971, I transferred from the Burlington IA Post Office to the Centerville Post Office. At that time I was the only female letter carrier in the ranks and became known around town as Mrs Zip. To say things were interesting would be putting it mildly. I'll always remember Gene as a helpful, kind, and special co-worker. Though my postal career lasted only briefly, it was a real pleasure to work alongside him.
