A REAL PRINCE OF A MAN, A GREAT HUMAN BEING! OUR CONDOLENCES TO THE ENTIRE MOORMAN FAMILY. I first met him when we worked at the Brick Yard back in the mid 60's, he fired the kilns at night, and went to Centerville Community College during the day. May he REST IN PEACE, ONE GREAT HUMAN BEING!
In the late seventies my parents moved from Phoenix, AZ. to Mystic. I thought my life was over! They purchased a small farm almost right behind Fred and Joann Moorman.
That same week I met Fred and Joann Moorman and all of their WONDERFUL FAMILY!
I never had that much fun in my life!!
Becky, Sheila, Kathy and I rode horses that summer. We went to the movies on Friday or Saturday night. Went to the lake and swam all day. Fred taught me how to make a tomato sandwich. Fred knew how to grow those tomatoes. Fred always had a smile on his face, as did Joann.
It was the best summer of my life. Fred and Joann knew how to raise them! ( kids )
