She was definitely a one of a kind, my Omama!! She was strong and fierce, she made hard choices and wasn't afraid to fight for what she wanted, let alone speak her mind. She took great pride in her work and the things she worked so hard for.
I'll never forget her blue Gremlin, she had the car forever, garage kept and pristine. When she finally traded it in it for her Dodge Laser, it only had like 20k miles on it. I remember the ad in the paper from the dealership that put it up for sale, "MINT, MINT" it said!!
That was her, she was MINT! She was an original for sure. I loved her so much and although I didn't get to see her enough in the last few years, I was still her Krissy Poo. Thank you, Grandma, for being the glue that held six girls together, then later, a million other little Hurley offspring. Your home was our gathering place and you provided that sense of family that still lives in all of us. You are always loved 🥰
