Elvin would always bale my dad's hay. I remember sitting with him, and the other men who might be helping that day. While My brothers would put the bales in the barn loft, he and others would sit in front of the barn and have such interesting conversations... usually lead by Alvin! He would discuss crops and other farming issues that I didn't know existed. He was respected by other farmers, who would consult Him about farming issues. I never heard a bad word spoken about him. We shared the joys of having both him and Nadine as 4-H leaders, and the sorrow when Edward died. Cincinnati was a better place because of him. Diana, it's been a long time since we've seen each other, but the Good memories are vivid. My sympathy to you and your children at this time.
