I remember Liz very well. She gave me a perm in my ponytail when I was about 10, I'm 60 now. It was beautiful and I was so proud of it. I also remember going to her shop she had there close to the post office on West State street as I remember it was in an old hotel, that could be wrong. Mom and I went to see her a couple times when she lived out in the country also on a lane off Star Route. Anyway she was always very welcoming, nice and I enjoyed her. I also have fond memories of your grandparents, Liz's mom and dad, Mr. & Mrs. Pete Morris. My parents were Brownie & LaVera Johnson. I don't remember her name I always called her Mrs. Morris. Anyway they lived in my parents apartment house at 108 East Terry and we lived across the hall from them. Mrs. Morris was a FABOULOUS COOK and was frequently bringing over some of what she had fixed for Pete. I still try but can't make Pigs in the Blanket taste as good as hers did. Pete tried to act like an old codger but he was a dear man, we had a lot of talks and I truly loved all 3 of them! Mary (Johnson) Goodman Posted by Mary Goodman November 19, 2010
