It was an honor and privilege to work beside my Renny for 16 years. We were so close we often finished each others thoughts. Apart these past 14 years we maintained out relationship, often sensing a need to make that call and touch base. We have all been enriched by knowing her and we are all diminished by our loss of her. Rember the love always, Kitty Davis Posted by Kitty Davis, RN September 09, 2010
To the family of Renee, you would have to look far to find someone as caring and compasionate as she was, always had a smile for everyone she met and was truly someone we will always remember. You are in our thoughts and prayers Posted by Roberta & Dale Weeks September 09, 2010
Through all of Renee's health problems I remember she always had a positive attitude, never complained or asked for help. I was very fond of Renee and enjoyed visiting with her. I will miss her. May she rest in peace. Blessings to her family. Posted by Jan Thomas September 09, 2010
Rene was one of the most sweet, fun, loving person I've ever known. When I heard the news all I could think of is the song we use to sing in church. WHEN MY FEET TOUCH THE STREET OF GOLD I am looking for the day when I'll see Jesus, And his blessed face I shall behold; With the saints of old, the half will then be told, When my feet touch the streets of gold. Well, when my feet touch the streets of glory, When I've travelled my last weary mile; Will he hold my trembling hand, When before the bar I stand; Will he say, My child well done, A crown of life you now have won. When my feet touch the streets of gold If by chance some happy morning you should miss me, Don't you weep for me because I'm gone; I'll be at the feet of the one who died for me, When my feet touch the streets of gold. Well, when my feet touch the streets of glory, When I've travelled my last weary mile; Will he hold my trembling hand, When before the bar I stand; Will he say, My child well done, A crown of life you now have won. When my feet touch the streets of gold Well, I am looking for the day when I'll see Jesus, And his blessed face I shall behold; With the saints of old the half will then be told, When my feet touch the streets of gold. Well, when my feet touch the streets of glory, When I've travelled my last weary mile; Will he hold my trembling hand, When before the bar I stand; Will he say, My child well done, A crown of life you now have won. When my feet touch the streets of gold Just to know that GOD took her by the hand & her feet are touching the streets of glory . What a wonderful place she is in. No more Hurt, pain or worries! Praise the LORD!!! My prayers are with you all! Posted by Kris SnyderShank September 09, 2010
Jacob and family, Thinking of you during this time. God bless, Tom and Jonna Reed Posted by Tom and Jonna Reed September 09, 2010
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Renee was a wonderful person to work with. She was great person to be around. She really cared about everyone around. When things was not going right she still had a postive attitude and keep looking ahead to what was good in life. She was one of the best nurses that I work under. She will be greatly missed. Edna, as I remember her by, was my best friend in elematary school at S.E.Warren. I remember her sparkling eyes, red curley hair, her ivory skin and a smile that never ended and gave it to everyone with her heart. I remember talking about what we wanted to be when we grew up. She wanted to be a mother and a nurse. I have thought about her so many times over the last 45 years, and wondered if she ever fullfilled her dreams. She did. And from what I've been reading, she did it with the love of God in her heart. It saddens me greatly that Edna and I lost track over the years. She was my childhood bestfriend. But I have peace in knowing that I will see her again some day when the Lord calls me home. To her family You are in my hearts and my prayers. I know that she will be greatly missed. My heartfelt sympathy to all of you, In Christ love, Dayna (Stalter) Schrier P.S. I would love to hear from Becky. Please e-mail me at the above address. God bless you all. Renee was a great influence upon my life. Though I only knew her for a short time whilst we were co-worlers, and I but a young fella, her influence and compassion touched me in a way that has continued today. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of need. Brian and Laura, La Plata, Argentina. Posted by Brian Harkins September 11, 2010
