EDDIE B. MORGAN Eddie Bill Morgan, the third son of William Carl and Betty Adair Morgan, was born August 22, 1959 at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon. Ed lived in Garden Grove from 1959 - 1964 and in Humeston 1964 - 1968. In 1968, Ed moved to the Corydon area. He attended elementary school in Allerton and Corydon and graduated from Wayne Community High School in 1978. He attended Central College in Pella for one year and then transferred to Cornell College in Mt. Vernon where he graduated with a degree in political science. Ed enjoyed reading, keeping in touch with friends and family and visiting with his many customers. Ed had a very close-knit group of friends. They enjoyed golfing, going to baseball games, playing cards or just simply hanging out together. Ed never married or had children, but loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews. You could always count on Ed for a competitive game of Trivial Pursuit at family gatherings. Ed was a very giving person and was always willing to help out with anything you asked him to do. Ed continues in his giving, as he was an organ donor. Ed was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father and his brother Jerry. Ed is survived by his mother Betty Morgan Beatty of Corydon, his brother Bob of Fairfield, his sister Sandra and husband Danny Allred of Corydon, his sister-in-law Donna Kyner Morgan of Corydon, his nephew Jacob Morgan and wife Tracy of Atlanta, Georgia, his niece Emily Morgan Ford and husband Nick of Tiffin, his niece Tessa Allred of Ames, his nephew Bronson Allred of Cambria and great niece Nola Ford of Tiffin. He is also survived by four aunts and one uncle on his father's side and four uncles and three aunts on his mother's side, as well as many cousins. Ed will be greatly missed by his many friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to the Lecompte Memorial Library.
