I first met Ed when he needed to bring his beloved 'Nita' to Rock Creek Memory Care. He was a devoted husband, visiting everyday, even when there were storm clouds around 'Nita'. He took the bad days in stride, showing his love and humor. He became good friends with many of us here at Rock Creek. We'd ask him how he's doing, he'd reply, 'Still kicking, just not very high!' He was instrumental in getting my husband Ed and I to join the Lake Mary Campground family, as this was one of his and Nita's favorite places to go. We would spend many phone calls comparing fish stories. During a fishing trip in San Diego, My Ed and Ed became the boat's duo jokesters. Teasing others unmercifully. (Must be something to that first name.) We at Rock Creek were honored to take care of Nita, and I was honored to call him my friend. 'Nita take good care of him' we will miss him terribly but we know that he's happy again to be by your side. Love Cindy & Ed Gaare
