Oh my goodness, there are so many memories, but the one thing I will never forget is the year my daughter, Amy, and my friend's son, Nathan were both in her class at school, well, his mom, Nancy and I, being friends and neighbors were talking, and went by her house, one of us made the comment that we heard her house had white carpeting in the livingroom, (now, neither one of us had ever been in this new house out on the highway), but we had heard this, we not only laughed about trying to keep white carpeting clean, but made some stupid remarks infront of these kids about how stupid this would be (it would for us)... my daughter, Amy, went to school, and asked Mrs. Henderson why she had white carpet in her livingroom, then she came home and told me, 'Mrs. Henderson doesn't have white carpet in her livingroom, it is beige'....Oh, boy, I could have died, but Clarabelle being the lady she was, never mentioned it, and I saw her at church every time I went. What a true lady. I thought she was lovely, glad she lived a good long life. Rest in Peace, Clarabelle Carolyn Hoxton
