I knew Chet for over 40 years, from the time I was a young boy. He trucked my father's grain for many years. I always held Chet in the highest esteem. He was like family to me. I just recently learned of Chet's death, and was so deeply saddened. It was an honor to know a man like Chet. I was a trucker for almost 13 years, in large part due to the influence Chet had on me when I was young. He even took me on one of his trips once in his semi. I will never forget that as long as I live. I hope and trust that Chet is with The Lord now, and that I will see him when I arrive in Heaven. I pray that God draws each member of Chet's friends and family close and they are blessed with The Lord's salvation. Amen.
