Caryl Rose Street's Obituary
Caryl Rose Street (Frye) of Corydon, Iowa passed away at the age of 94, at the Wayne County Hospital. She was born in rural Wayne County Iowa on December 04, 1927. She attended Cambria School and graduated in 1945. Caryl was married to William "Nick" Street in December of 1956. To this union Nick and Toni were born.
Caryl loved to sew many things, work on crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards when she wasn't cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes. She never met a stranger and to all the people that met her will forever remember her laugh and caring nature.
Caryl is survived by her children Nick Street, Toni Frame. Grandchildren Kelly Street, Katie Street, Michael (Denise) Frame, Michelle (Matt) Anderson, and Tracy Lowry. Great-Grandchildren Amber Johnson, Paige Johnson, Nicole (Allan) Strickland, Michael Frame, Veronica Frame, and Corbin Lowry, as well as Great-Great-Grandchildren Emilea Strickland and Oakley Strickland. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Alice Frye, husband William "Nick" Street, and 14 brothers and sisters.
Service will be held on September 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon, Iowa. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held immediately following at the Cambria Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family to be used to help with expenses at the Cambria City Park.
