Carl Ray will be greatly missed. Always friendly and loved to have fun. Him and my brother(Jim Redman Campbell) Loved aviation and to fly and were great friends till my brothers death. linda and I also thought the world of Carl too. Sympathy to Shelly, Scott, Kathy, Shirley, and families. Recalling memories of Aunt Fannie, Uncle Charlie, Toots & Jamie. Kathy, do you remember all those times you'd take Joyce (and I'd tag along) to your grandparents' tavern for a hamburger lunch I always laugh at you throwing your leftover bun edges behind a big picture on the wall; then one day Uncle Charlie came in with a broom, pulled the bottom of the picture away from the wall, and made you clean up all the dried bread crumbs off the floor! Crazy Ray as we all knew him there in Centerville always had a smile on his face. Every time you would see Ray he was happy, either telling a joke or even dancing. He had a smile and hand shake or hug for everyone. He made you feel welcome and treated everyone with respect. His happy heart will live on in all his family members I know. My heart goes out to Shelly, Scott and all the family for such a loss. He will be missed forever by his family and for all those that knew and cared for him in the community.
