I WILL NEVER FORGET CARL AS I RAN THE IDEAL READY MIX IN ALBIA FOR MANY YEARS AND I WOULD GO TO THE CENTERVILLE PLANT OR CARL WOULD HELP ME AT THE ALBIA PLANT. Carl was a fine man, husband and father. I grew up with the children; Carl and Tammy and lived close to their home. Carl was always friendly and helpful to us kids and in later years I enjoyed seeing him around town. Our prayers are with the family - he will be greatly missed. I will miss seeing my uncle in the store as well as watching for him everytime i would see an ideal truck going by. My uncle would make me laugh when he would start to get upset about something, his face would turn almost as red as his hair.
