While I am sad at the passing of my sister, I have a peace knowing that Beverly is with her Lord and Savior as she would tell you 2 Corinthians 55-7 says, For we walk by faith, not by sight We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him. While I and others will miss her, I know she is not only with Jesus, she is with her husband, her son, and with our parents. That give me much peace at this time and I would hope to others as well. Laura, Becky, and families, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. I have a lot of memories of being at your house when you all were little and Buddy and your Dad played music. Good times and good friends. Paul had your Mom as a teacher when he went to head start and really liked her. The last time I saw Bev was at Hy-Vee, we talked for a long time. Always enjoyed visiting with her. While these past few days have been long and stressful, I find peace knowing my Mother's finally home where she has wanted to be for quite some time. My Mother devoted her entire life to her family and friends and to serving the Lord and spreading the Word to nearly everyone she came in contact with. She was perfect in my eyes and I will truly miss her!! She went above and beyond in raising us children and cared for us with all her heart. I am truly blessed to . have had her as my Mother. While her passing is very painful, I am comforted in knowing she is no longer suffering. I have countless wonderful memories of her and our loss is truly Heaven's gain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While these last two weeks have been hard and stressful with the loss of mom I have my wonderful memories of a mother who loved and adored her husband, who loved and cared for her children, who loved and spoiled her grandchildren and who loved and was so proud of her great granddaughter. Mom had a big heart and she always believed in helping anyone that she could and she made friends wherever she went. The last few years had been a struggle for mom and she missed dad so much.
